The first official trailer for the upcoming animated feature film “Killer: Instincts” has been released online and in theaters.
Set in a dystopian future, the film will be directed by Michael Bay, who helmed the original movie “Terminator: Genisys” and has also previously directed the sci-fi action-adventure “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
The film, which stars James Franco and Amy Adams, will debut in theaters on May 19.
“Killing Instinct” will also include appearances from “Terminators” actors and original cast members such as Bay, Chris Pratt, Emma Stone, Zachary Levi and Emily Blunt.
The first trailer shows off the action-packed film, with characters and scenes featuring action-filled sequences and scenes set in the futuristic world of “Kicking It,” including “the final confrontation between a new team of KOs that’s led by a killer.”
The trailer shows the main character, a KOs member named “Cameron,” battling “the killer,” “Sandy” (played by Amy Adams), who was once a rival team member, and his team of two “Kills,” who are “Kinesis” who use their bodies to kick opponents.
A character named “Moses” is also introduced, who is the new leader of the team.
“Sandra,” played by Jennifer Connelly, will join the team after her “killing” was captured by the killer, and she will be the first female KOs leader.
The film also features several other KOs, including “Gone” (Alexandra Stiles) and “Cherish” (Taryn Manning), a Koko (Kimmy Robertson) and a “Grizzly” (Natalie Portman).

“KISS” stars Chris Evans as the killer Instinct, Tom Hardy as the Koko, Dan Stevens as “Mr. S,” Jaeden Lieberher as “Boris,” Jason Momoa as “Lilith,” Rose Byrne as “Eddie,” and Elizabeth Banks as “Maggie.”
