A skater with a local skate shop in California says he got a great deal for his hard work with a skate sharping service.
The company says the skater, who goes by the name K.J., received a package of sharpening equipment and a skate kit in December.
The package included a pair of skate wheels, two blades, a new roller skate, a set of roller skaters and other tools, the company says on its website.
The package includes a $500 price tag and is available at local shops and online.
The skate sharpeners are supposed to last about a year, but K.A. says he spent more than a year with the company.
The skater says he was surprised to get the package, but he was glad to receive the equipment.
The company is also offering to help another skater who wants to get into the sharpening business.
The Skate Sharpener says it has a large skater population, and they have many skaters in need of equipment.
A local skate shops owner, Joe Siegel, says they’ve received thousands of requests for equipment, so they’re hoping to make an impact.
He says there are about 15 local skate businesses, but there are also some regional shops that need more equipment.
