Skaters can be pretty much anyone, and many, including the boyish skaters who love to be a girl, are now experimenting with gender-bending fashion styles.
And they’re finding that the more they experiment, the more successful they are.
This trend is known as the “boy-boy aesthetic,” a trend that is becoming increasingly popular with younger skaters, according to a CNN report from last month.
The skater world, however, has also been taking note of gender-blending fashion trends in a growing number of fashion publications.
The new trends in skater clothing include boyish or girlish looks that are “inspired by the gender of the wearer and/or the wearer’s own body,” the report says.
“These are not simply the product of a new aesthetic trend, they are a new form of expression, a new expression of self and a new way of life.”
For example, some boyish styles look like skirts, with a skirt-like skirt that is shorter on the outside than the skirt that would be seen on a girl.
And other boyish style are more traditionally feminine.
In the style, a boy might wear a skirt, with shorts that are shorter on one side than the other, or a shirt with a more feminine skirt.
A boy-boy style has also become popular among women, with women wearing skirts and dresses more commonly in their everyday life.
A new trend that started in the United Kingdom in the late 2000s has been gaining popularity in recent years in the U.S. “We started to see that this was something that was really cool and people were getting really into it,” Laura Jones, who runs the Skater Girl blog, told CNN.
“I think it’s really exciting for women, too, because you can see them wear these kinds of skirts or dresses.
It’s like they are actually wearing clothes and they are making this expression out of their own gender.”
In fact, a lot of people in the skate community are experimenting with the “girl-boy” aesthetic.
This means that the boy in a girl-boy outfit might be dressed in a boy’s shirt, while a boy-girl might wear skirts.
Jones, for example, is trying to “transform boyish clothing into girlish clothing,” she said.
“There are so many different ways to look at it, so you have to choose.”
In the end, Jones believes the trend has been growing for years.
“You could go back to the 90s, there were a lot more boys skating and more girls skating, and it just kind of took off from there,” she told CNN, “and then it kind of went back to where it was before.”
And for those skaters that have experimented with gender bending fashion styles, it’s not always easy.
Jones explained that it can be challenging for skaters to be seen as “real boys” while also being considered feminine.
“In the skate world, it feels like they’re more like the kids who don’t really like skateboarding,” she added.
Jones says there’s a “lot of pressure” on female skaters trying to be like boys, especially if they’re trying to make it in the world of skateboarding.
“And it’s a little bit of a drag because it’s hard to go out and make yourself look like a girl in a skateboard, and you have no other options,” Jones said. In fact — as I pointed out in my previous article — there are many female skater boys who wear skirts and have their own styles of clothing.
But in this age of social media, the idea that girls should dress like girls is “not something that you have much of a choice about,” Jones added.
“So, you’re forced to wear skirts or you’re not allowed to, or you have a certain amount of freedom in your gender expression.”
Jones also pointed out that there are “many” skaters “who are so into dressing like girls,” that they just don’t have a choice.
But she says that many skaters don’t realize they’re making a choice that they’re creating their own self-image.
“People want to feel like they can wear what they want,” she explained.
“But it’s also hard for them to say that, because they feel like it’s their own body and it’s very difficult to feel comfortable in their own skin.”
But in recent months, the trend of dressing like a boy has been expanding, and in some cases, it has become more popular than ever.
In June, skater Daniela de La Cruz, a 22-year-old American skater from New York, was featured in a video in The New York Times Magazine wearing a boyish look.
“It’s so cool to be me, I’m just really into skating and all the things I’m into,” she captioned the video.
And in July, a skater named John Dorman, 23, of San Diego, California,
