I want to take the time off, but not because I want my boss to know about it.
I don’t want to be around anyone else in this office who’s not doing this right, or who is going through something like this.
I don’t need them.
I need the freedom to do what I want.
And that’s what I’m doing.
I’m writing my book.
It’s called “My Story.”

What I want people to know is this: I am the only person at the helm of one of the most successful businesses in the world.
How I did it.
I am not a careerist.
I love my job.
When I started my job, my boss told me I would have to work two months and take six months off to go back to school.
I didn’t think he was kidding.
I thought I would just take a couple of days off.
But then he asked me to stay and be a part of it.
And I did.
And now I’m proud to have been a part a company that built one of today’s most successful brands.
He said it would take me another six months.
I got it.
That means I’m staying for a year and six months instead of just two.
You can be a leader.
You can be successful.
You have a great job, you’re well paid and you get to stay in a company where people trust you to keep things running.
So why would I ever want to leave?
I want this job to last as long as I want it to.
I know that it takes hard work, it takes determination, it requires sacrifice.
And so for me, I can’t wait to get back in the office and work on this book.
And when I get back to work, I’ll be looking forward to the challenges ahead.
I hope I’ve learned something from this experience.
But I’m also excited about what the future holds for me.
